Dr. Firas F. Katabi
Dr. Firas F. Katabi's graduation from The Ohio State University in 1994 put him on the path for pursuing a career in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He went on to receive his DDS in 1998 at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He subsequently completed his specialty training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Lincoln Medical Center, affiliated with Weill Medical College at Cornell University in New York City. Throughout his training, Dr. Katabi showed distinction in his field with publications and honors. Immediately upon completion of his training, he maintained a very busy oral and maxillofacial surgery practice, which enabled him to achieve impressive board certification from three different boards. His diplomate status is the ultimate professional testimonial of his expertise in his fields. The board certifications are by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and The American Board of Oral Implantology / Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Katabi is also a Fellow in numerous professional associations, including the prestigious American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the International Congress of Implantology. He additionally has numerous other local, national, and international professional affiliations.
Dr. Katabi keeps current with the latest techniques and most up-to-date knowledge by constantly attending and participating as a lecturer in numerous professional educational events, both nationally and internationally. Dr. Alissa Pullos
Dr. Alissa Pullos was raised in River Forest and graduated from the University of Michigan, where she was a member of the varsity field hockey team. Growing up in a dental family, she was inspired to pursue a career in dentistry, and graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Following her passion for surgery, she completed her specialty training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Throughout her education and training, Dr. Pullos was heavily involved in research, achieving publications in journals and textbooks.
She is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Dental Association. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Pullos maintains a progressive skill set by attending professional education events nationally. She takes great pride in treating her patients with the most up-to-date techniques and ensuring that they have an overall positive and comfortable experience with their oral surgery care.
Dr. Pullos enjoys spending her free time with her family and her dog. She is an animal lover, an artist, and a cooking enthusiast. She enjoys skiing and snowboarding, as well as spending time on the lake in the summer.
