I would like to commend Armitage Oral Surgery on the superior dental care I received. I was quite nervous in that I was going to have four wisdom teeth extracted. Dr. Katabi and his assistant nurse, Kristy both helped me to feel quite relaxed. They were both extremely professional in their care for me. This place is fantastic!! The office is clean and beautiful (it is decorated as though it is a home and makes arrival for appointment VERY comfortable.) Also, it doesn't feel like a typical oral surgeons office as it smells pleasant and you cannot hear a lot of the operation noise as the rooms are further back from the waiting area.
Also the staff is wonderful. Nancy at the front desk is warm and kind and makes the arrival process pleasant and relaxing. She has a great sense of humor and made me feel at ease both for the evaluation and the surgery. They also gave me calls and emails so that all my questions were answered before the surgery and I really appreciated that.
The Doctor and his assistants made the pre-operation experience UNBELIEVABLY comfortable. They talked to me in detail about how everything was going to go and relaxed all of my worries. I felt through the whole process like I was fully taken care of and cared for. In the world of medicine this is a rare experience to have, so I am very thankful that I stumbled upon Armitage Oral Surgery. I truly believe that the people that work here do so because they care about delivering loving patient care and I am thankful that I got such a pleasant and positive experience!

...I had an excellent experience with Armitage Oral Surgery. I was most impressed with the prompt service. I usually have to wait a while at any doctor's office appointment, so I was really happy that I was seen, for both my x-ray and surgery, in such a timely fashion.
The surgery was painless. The nurses made me feel comfortable. When I woke up from the sedative, the nurse (Michelle?) walked me patiently to the chair in the back .
My recovery was also incredibly easy. I had absolutely no pain (to my
delight) and very minimum swelling (only I could notice my swelling).
Now, a week later, my gums are healing very well. I did not have to take any pain killers, because I had no serious pain.
I would enthusiastically recommend Armitage Oral Surgery to anyone who needs wisdom teeth extraction. I was extremely pleased with my experience.

Amazing! ... I went to Dr Katabi thinking that he was probably going to suggest I need all my wisdom teeth removed, just because it's his job as an oral surgeon to remove teeth LOL so I met w/ Dr Katabi and he was great, I only had to have 1 tooth removed and he explained everything thoroughly. When the day of my surgery came, I was a little nervous but Michelle his assistant sat w/ me and explained the procedure and the aftercare. I had the procedure done w/ only local. I was going to get general because I thought I wasn't going to be able to take the pain, but what pain? The local was enough, Dr Katabi had relaxing music on, he kept asking how I was doing. It was fast and not painful. I even got a little chocolate pudding to take home. I love the staff at Armitage Oral and I recommend this place for anyone who needs to have any type of oral surgery.

I had been struggling with my wisdom teeth for years and due to a pretty bad fear of the dentist I continued to put off surgery until I couldn't take the pain anymore. I was referred to Armitage Oral Surgery by my general dentist and from the first phone call I made to Dr. Katabi's office I felt relieved. The office staff was super friendly, warm and attentive to my hesitation with coming to the dentist. I was very impressed with the consultation and Dr. Katabi's willingness to sit and answer all of my questions. The day of my surgery I was so relaxed that my blood pressure levels were lower than normal. After surgery the office scheduled a taxi to take me home and my recovery was a success. I had virtually no pain, no discomfort and now 1 1/2 months later I'm 98% healed. I will absolutely be referring Armitage Oral Surgery to my friends, coworkers and client's.
